As a reminder, the massive App Retailer shutdown starts tomorrow, Dec. 23. The shutdown is a yearly occurrence around the vacation season.
What this implies?
First announced in November, the period in between Dec. 23 and Dec. 27 is when Apple is shutting down iTunes Connect to developers.
As Brent Dirks 1st noted, throughout the freeze, developers will not be able to submit any new apps and app updates for approval and release via iTunes Connect. Other iTunes Connect and developer account characteristics will nevertheless be offered.
For non-developers, the shutdown means that no new apps or updates will be released. You also will not be seeing bug fixes or price tag changes.
Standard operations will resume on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
